Why Choose
Grace Community School?
Give Your Child a Head Start
Don’t settle when it comes to your child! Grace Community School started in 1986, and we have a proven track record of providing the best quality child care at an affordable price.
Choose any of our convenient Southwest Florida locations in Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Naples Park, or Naples Golden Gate, and we’ll provide the best possible preschool and daycare for your child.
You want more than just “cheap” daycare! The first five years of a child’s life are by far the most critical developmental years — don’t waste them! The education you give to a child in these birth-to-five years is the most meaningful he or she will receive. Play is important, but so is guided learning. Grace Community School is far more than just babysitting.
Don't compromise on care for your child
It is impossible to overemphasize the importance of reading. If you can read, you can learn almost anything! Teaching kids to read well is the best way to instill a love of reading in children. Children who learn to read early are more likely to become active readers when they are older. It also boosts children’s self-esteem; kids are justifiably proud of themselves when they can do something so monumental as reading. Grace Community School Reading Circles are the key to our early literacy instruction.
Our Preschoolers Can Read
Children at Grace Community School learn at their own pace. We make learning exciting, so they’re bored, and the level of instruction is always at the child’s developmental level. There is always something new to learn! We do not teach “reading readiness,” only actual reading instruction, with phonics. We have an advanced preschool math curriculum, too, covering shapes, counting, patterns, colors, addition, and more. The instruction is always at the child’s developmental level. We send certificates home to celebrate when a child passes each learning milestone.
Grace Community School’s developmentally-appropriate curriculum begins with our infants and toddlers and grows with your child. You may have seen our slogan, “College Can Begin at Two.” That’s because it’s never too early to begin age-appropriate learning. Our schedules also include storytimes, song and dance, circle time, self-guided learning centers, and art experiences.
Developmentally appropriate curriculum
For children to succeed, they need a firm foundation, not only of academics but morality. The non-denominational Bible program at Grace Community School incorporates morals, virtues, and manners into the curriculum. Children learn the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” This moral learning is just as crucial for children’s development as the academic material; moreover, this faith-based approach is the framework for social-emotional development. Kids are better able to learn when children behave courteously and work together in a safe environment.
The Grace Community School educational program also extends to children’s physical well-being. Physical development and learning about health are part of each day. You can also choose our optional karate, dance, art, and music classes.
Healthy, USDA-approved meals prepared in an on-site kitchen help kids stay healthy and happy. Kids who eat better, learn better. We provide this great nutrition at no cost to you!
